The body of KALKO – KDM450 is made of non magnetic stainless steel AISI 304. The most suitable material for appliances that intended to come in contact with food.
It can withstand many years of tough use without rust or wear.

Waterproof switch
The switch that turns on frappe mixer KALKO – KDM450 is waterproof, in class IP65.
In off position isolates both live and neutral, ensuring zero leakage, even when operated with wet hands.It has a wide knob for easy handling and is mounted on the top of the frappe mixer for easy access and ergonomic operation.

KALKO logo shows our history, that since 1980 we design and produce electric appliances in Greece. It is made of cast aluminum and placed in the front and rear side of the frappe mixer, sending out the prestige and total quality that KALKO products have.

Food safety
Kalko shows special attention in the raw material that uses for the production of the frappe mixer. Especially the parts that intended to come in contact with food.
The shaft and the malt cup are made of non magnetic stainless steel AISI303 and AISI304. The propeller is polycarbonate with zero biphenol migration.
For these parts (propeller, shaft and malt cup) laboratory tests are being made in order to verify their composition and certify their food touch safety.
